Eggspectation: Savor the Best Breakfast & Brunch in Charlotte!

My wife and I were quite impressed! This was our first time eating here and they knocked it out the park. The lamb for the lamb and eggs was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The croissants flaky and not dry. Eggs cook spot on. The smile on my wife's face when she saw, then tasted her omlet said it all to me. The staff from the hostess, to our waitress were welcoming and attentive. I saved this as a go-to breakfast place for us now.

Eggspectation is a brunch dream come true. The breakfast poutine is rich and satisfying, with crispy potatoes, savory gravy, and perfectly cooked eggs. The lamb was tender and flavorful, an unexpected standout, and the avocado toast Benedict is a fresh twist on a classic that totally works. Every dish feels thoughtfully crafted with very creative components, and the menu offers something for everyone. With a vibrant atmosphere and consistently great service, it’s no wonder this is your favorite brunch spot in the city. Five stars for flavor, creativity, and weekend vibes done right.

Deeeeeelicious!!! Food was so good and one of the few places that makes a proper Americano! Our waitress was very helpful and we were seated rather quickly. We will definitely be back soon. PS: lemon blueberry pancakes are insane. Must have!

My friend and I had an absolutely amazing experience here from start to finish. The service was truly top-tier!! Joanna was very attentive without being overbearing, warm, and genuinely welcoming. Joanna made us feel valued the entire time, checked in at the perfect moments, and handled everything with such professionalism and care. The atmosphere was inviting, the food was delicious, and the overall energy of the staff made the experience even better. You can tell they take pride in what they do. It’s rare to find service that feels both elevated and personal at the same time, but they nailed it. We will be back!!!

One of the best breakfast spots I ever found in USA. Really nice place! Everything I tried was perfect! But on a weekend it will be crowded and probably you will wait for some time to be seated

We come back to this restaurant almost every time we visit Charlotte because we love the breakfast menu variety. There are so many great options to choose from even though prices are on the higher side. I love the egg omelets—they come with a side salad, which is a nice touch. The food can be a little on the greasier side at times, but overall it’s a spot we’re always happy to return to.

Today was my first time trying Eggspectation!!! I felt very welcomed as soon as I walked in. I believe my waitress name was Diane. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and was very patient with me as I was trying to figure out what I wanted to eat since everything on the menu looked delicious. My good was a 10/10!!! My mimosa flights were so good as well. I will back. I hope I get the same waitress as well!!!

We celebrated a Galentine’s brunch here as a group of ladies and had a lovely experience. The service was warm, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was welcoming. A perfect spot for family gatherings or time with friends and colleagues. Highly recommend!
